Local deliveries
We will always try to deliver direct to you with a Summerhill Van and Driver whenever this is possible (sometimes, goods are delivered directly from the manufacturer).
Local deliveries are quite flexible and we will always try to accomodate specific delivery times for your convenience.
We have a standard delivery charge of £19 that covers all areas within DY, WV & B post codes..
What you need to know before we deliver
Some items can be especially heavy and therefore you must ensure that someone is available at the delivery point to help with off-loading. If you are unable to arrange for this, please let us know in advance so we can make special arrangements.
Checking your delivery
Although we carefully check your delivery is complete once it has been off-loaded, you must check any items for damage and report this to us within 3 days.
National deliveries and small orders
We also deliver to most of the UK mainland. For deliveries more than 10 miles away from our store and for small orders, which can be placed in parcels, we use carefully selected specialist carriers - making sure your large and fragile items are treated with the utmost care and attention. Although rare, if anything is damaged during transit, of course we will replace it*.
The limits of our liability
Excluding any statutory rights, our liability is strictly limited to the cost of the goods being sold. No contract of sale is entered into under any other circumstances. Although we do our very best to deliver at the arranged time, sometimes things beyond our control can delay your delivery. We strongly advise that you do not arrange for your installer to begin work until you have safely taken delivery of your equipment. We cannot be held responsible for wasted labour charges. We only provide delivery to a ground floor location adjacent to the off-loading area.
Free delivery offers
From time to time, we will offer free delivery on certain orders. All such offers are limited to certain postcodes. Areas that are outside our normal delivery zones are excluded from all such offers. Please contact us to clarify if your postcode is affected.
